
Wayne Taylor Racing Secures First Victory Since 2024 at Road America
Wayne Taylor Racing achieved its first victory since 2024 during the Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America, with Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor driving the #10 Cadillac V-Series.R.
The race concluded dramatically after a final restart with 10 minutes and 35 seconds remaining, when Kévin Estre and Jack Aitken collided, forcing both to retire and ending the race under caution. This win marks the first for the team in the GTP class since their last victory in Detroit.
Laurin Heinrich from JDC-Miller MotorSports finished second, while Louis Deletraz, also from Wayne Taylor Racing, secured third place, resulting in a double podium for the team. The overall championship standings have tightened, with Aitken maintaining a 128-point lead over Heinrich.
