Welsh Cyclist Finlay Tarling Dies in Collision During Volta a Portugal
Finlay Tarling, a 19-year-old cyclist from Wales, tragically lost his life in a vehicle collision during the eighth stage of the Volta a Portugal.
The incident occurred on a 166.8-kilometre route from Melgaco to Fafe, prompting an immediate investigation by local authorities. Following the accident, racing was halted for the day, although it remains uncertain if the event will be canceled entirely.
Tarling, who was competing for the NSN Development Team, was remembered by his team as a beloved member and a cherished son and brother.
