West Coast Considers Bobby Hill for AFL Opportunity
West Coast's list manager, Matt Clarke, is exploring the possibility of signing Bobby Hill, a 26-year-old forward seeking redemption in the AFL after his departure from Collingwood.
Hill's exit from Collingwood occurred midway through his contract in 2026, following a challenging 18 months marked by off-field issues. In September, he expressed his determination to return to the AFL and his readiness to earn a new contract.
Clarke noted that Hill's talent warrants consideration, and the recent addition of a Category B Rookie spot for First Nations players may provide an opportunity for him this off-season. While St Kilda has not yet discussed Hill, he has connections with the club. Meanwhile, Fremantle has ruled out signing him, despite his ties to Western Australia. Hill previously played 41 games for GWS and won a premiership and the Norm Smith Medal with Collingwood in 2023.
