The Western Bulldogs have appointed Tony Brown as their new head of development coach, following two recruitment attempts by Essendon. Brown joins the Bulldogs after a 15-year career at St Kilda, where he served as the player development manager.

During his playing career, Brown participated in 108 games for St Kilda from 1995 to 2000 before moving to Port Adelaide in the SANFL. He returned to St Kilda in 2012, taking on development and runner roles.
