Western Bulldogs Delist Four Players Following 2026 Season
The Western Bulldogs have confirmed the delisting of four players shortly after their 2026 season ended with a loss to Adelaide.
Oskar Baker, Harvey Gallagher, Lachlan Smith, and Zac Walker have been informed that they will not be offered contracts for the upcoming season. Baker, who joined the Bulldogs after being delisted by Melbourne, played 42 games over four seasons and is remembered for a significant match-winning goal earlier this year. Gallagher, selected in the 2022 National Draft, contributed 10 goals in 28 games, while Smith made his debut in 2023 and played twice. Walker, drafted in 2025, participated in 24 VFL games but did not appear in the senior team.
All four players were part of the Bulldogs' VFL premiership team last season. The club's football boss, Sam Power, expressed gratitude for their contributions and noted their popularity within the team.
