White Sox Trade for Outfielder Tommy Pham from Phillies

The Chicago White Sox have completed a trade to reacquire outfielder Tommy Pham from the Philadelphia Phillies, as reported by ESPN's Jeff Passan on Monday.

Pham, who is set to join the White Sox when rosters expand, was eligible for the trade due to his absence from the Phillies' 40-man roster. The 38-year-old has had a limited season, playing only nine games with the New York Mets, where he did not record a hit in 13 at-bats.

Previously, Pham played for the White Sox in 2024, participating in 70 games. Throughout his career, he has played 1,250 games, achieving a batting average of .256 with 149 home runs. Last season, he recorded a .245 average with 10 home runs and 52 RBIs while playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
