Will Lankshear Shines at Middlesbrough After Leaving Tottenham

Will Lankshear has made a significant impact at Middlesbrough, scoring nine goals in 12 matches since joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur. His latest goal helped secure a 1-0 victory against Wolves, showcasing his strong positioning and finishing skills.

Lankshear, who signed a five-year contract with Middlesbrough for a deal that could reach £20 million, has matched the total goals scored by Tottenham's entire team in the same period. While Spurs managed a draw against Manchester United, they remain in the Premier League relegation zone, contrasting with Middlesbrough's position in the Championship's automatic promotion spots.

Fans of Tottenham have expressed regret over Lankshear's departure, questioning the decision to sell him given his current form. The young striker, who previously played for Oxford United, is seen as a promising talent, drawing comparisons to Harry Kane due to his playing style and physical attributes. As Lankshear continues to excel, discussions about his potential future in the Premier League are emerging.
