Will Ospreay Discusses Body Dysmorphia and ADHD Challenges
Will Ospreay, a star in AEW, has revealed his struggles with body dysmorphia and ADHD, discussing how these challenges have influenced his journey in wrestling.
In an interview with Muscle and Fitness, Ospreay recounted his initial experiences with body image issues, which surfaced after winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in October 2017. He mentioned feeling inadequate after receiving negative comments about his physique, which led to his embarrassment about seeking help in the gym.
Ospreay's perspective shifted while wrestling abroad, where he began following structured workout programs and eventually hired a personal trainer to better understand fitness and nutrition. He also shared insights about his ADHD diagnosis at age 27, which clarified many of his past difficulties and helped him focus on his wrestling career.
