During an interview, Ospreay recounted being preoccupied with his match preparations when he heard a commotion, initially mistaking it for a promo. He later realized the seriousness of the situation when he saw Punk pass by. Ospreay expressed surprise at witnessing the incident unfold, noting that it contrasted with his generally positive experiences in the AEW locker room.
He remarked that he had not observed any significant tension among wrestlers during his time in AEW, describing his visits as enjoyable and devoid of animosity.
