Will Ospreay Discusses Quick Recovery from Neck Surgery
Will Ospreay is preparing for a significant match against Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium in England. This comes after a year of hard work following his neck surgery, which he underwent last September.
In a recent interview with SHAK Wrestling, Ospreay reflected on his recovery journey, noting that he managed to return in just over five months, significantly quicker than the expected six to nine months. He humorously remarked that he 'beat John Cena' in terms of recovery time.
Ospreay announced the successful surgery on social media and made his AEW return in March, where he confronted Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, who had previously sidelined him. His first match back occurred shortly after at AEW Dynamite against Blake Christian.
