Will Ospreay Thanks Tony Khan for Covering Neck Surgery Costs
Will Ospreay is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW Men's World Championship at ALL IN in Wembley Stadium. His journey to this match included undergoing neck fusion surgery last September due to two herniated disks.
Ospreay shared that the surgery was expensive, costing more than $420,000, and expressed his appreciation for Tony Khan, who covered the costs. He noted that while he could have paid for it himself, Khan's support demonstrated his care for the talent.
This is not the first time Khan has funded surgeries for AEW wrestlers, having previously paid for Mark Davis's knee surgery and Eddie Kingston's ACL repair after insurance issues. In 2024, Khan also covered The Blade's spinal fusion surgery and rehabilitation.
