Willow Nightingale Discusses Her Journey to AEW

Willow Nightingale began her pro wrestling training in 2015, coinciding with the eventual launch of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). She expressed that AEW is the ideal environment for her career.

In a recent interview, Nightingale shared her enthusiasm for AEW, stating that it embodies a 'punk rock' ethos and offers an alternative approach to wrestling. She noted that when she started her journey, AEW was not yet established, but once it was created, she felt a strong desire to be part of it.

Nightingale highlighted the importance of being able to be oneself in wrestling, contrasting AEW with WWE, where she felt less aligned. She emphasized the hope and potential for success within AEW. Currently, she is set to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mercedes Mone at All In, taking place at Wembley Stadium on August 30.
