WNBA Finals Game 6 Date and Venue Uncertain
The date and venue for Game 6 of the WNBA Finals are currently uncertain as discussions are ongoing among the Atlanta Dream, Golden State Valkyries, and the Atlanta Hawks. Reports indicate that the game may be held at the Hawks' State Farm Arena on Thursday, but the venue is also scheduled for a Cavaliers game that night.
The Dream usually play at the Gateway Center Arena, which has a capacity of 3,000, but have utilized State Farm Arena for their playoff games, which accommodates 17,000 spectators. A WNBA spokesperson mentioned that all options are being considered.
Previous arrangements allowed for Games 3 and 4 of the Finals to be played at State Farm Arena despite scheduling conflicts. Possible solutions for Game 6 include holding it at Gateway Center Arena, rescheduling the Hawks-Cavaliers game, or moving Game 6 to Friday, which would delay Game 7 to Tuesday. The Dream and Valkyries are currently tied 2-2 in the Finals following a Golden State victory in Game 4.
