WNBA Rescinds Caitlin Clark's Technical Foul, Avoiding Suspension

The WNBA has overturned a technical foul assessed to Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever during a recent game against the Chicago Sky, which the Fever won 90-86. This decision prevents her from facing a one-game suspension for the upcoming match against the New York Liberty.

The foul was issued late in the third quarter when Clark, after being bumped during a drive, inadvertently made contact with an official while passing the ball. Following this incident, Fever coach Stephanie White also received a technical foul for disputing the call.

Clark contributed significantly to her team's victory, scoring 26 points and providing 11 assists, marking her sixth game this season with over 25 points and 10 assists. This performance set a new WNBA record for her, surpassing her previous record of five such games in a single season.
