Women of Wrestling Transitions to Live Weekly Episodes with New Character
Women of Wrestling (WOW) is preparing for its fifth season, making a significant shift to live weekly television episodes from L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.
This change is part of a broader strategy to enhance the promotion's visibility. The fourth season recently concluded with its 35th episode, but details regarding the length of the upcoming season remain unclear. WOW continues to be available on platforms like YouTube, Pluto TV, and Facebook, although its episodes are not featured on Paramount+ despite the syndication managed by Paramount.
Jeanie Buss, former owner of the L.A. Lakers and co-owner of WOW, will take on a larger on-camera role this season. While WOW's ratings do not match those of larger promotions like WWE or AEW, it boasts a 93% audience return rate season over season and a 96% growth in social media following since its inception.
