Woody Johnson Acquires Minority Stake in Aston Martin F1 Team

Robert Wood Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets and former US ambassador to the UK, has acquired a minority stake in the Aston Martin Formula 1 team.

As part of this deal, Johnson will join the board of directors as vice chairman. The acquisition aims to enhance the team's commercial growth in the US market, which is significant for Formula 1.

Johnson, who has a background in the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical empire, previously invested in Premier League football team Crystal Palace. He expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Aston Martin's owner, Lawrence Stroll, to develop the team and expand its fanbase in the United States.
