Wrexham Signs Kabore and Ekomie Amid Injury Concerns

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has highlighted the significance of the recent signings of Issa Kabore and Jacques Ekomie as the team prepares for their Championship match against Birmingham City. This comes after George Thomason was confirmed to be out for 10 weeks due to a thigh injury sustained during a match against Watford.

Kabore, a right wing-back, and Ekomie, a left-back, have both completed permanent transfers to Wrexham's Racecourse Ground. Their arrivals are crucial as Thomason had been filling in at left wing-back while Liberato Cacace remains unavailable. Parkinson noted that with only Ryan Longman available for the left side, the new signings were essential for the team's depth.

These acquisitions mark Wrexham's fourth and fifth signings of the transfer window, following the additions of midfielder Ben Whiteman, goalkeeper Anthony Patterson, and right wing-back Danny Imray. Parkinson expressed optimism about Kabore's potential to settle into the team after a series of loan moves, while he also praised Ekomie's qualities. The manager is looking to further strengthen the squad before the transfer deadline.
