Wrexham's Ambitious Kop Stand Project Underway
Wrexham is currently constructing a new Kop stand at the Racecourse, which is expected to be completed by the start of the next season. This £70 million project aims to support the club's ambitions of advancing from the Championship to the Premier League.
The new stand will feature 7,500 seats, increasing the stadium's capacity to over 18,000. It will also include modern facilities such as dressing rooms, media areas, and hospitality options, making the venue suitable for top-flight football.
Wrexham's ownership under Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has been marked by significant investment in both the club and the local community. The club has seen rapid progress, achieving three consecutive promotions to reach the Championship, and is focused on further development to ensure long-term sustainability.
