WWE Announces Tryouts in Hawaii Featuring The Rock

WWE has announced that it will conduct tryouts in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Blaisdell Arena on October 16 and 17. The promotional materials prominently feature The Rock, although it has not been confirmed whether he will attend the event.

The Rock has strong ties to Hawaii, having grown up there, and his grandparents were involved in the local wrestling scene. He has not appeared on television since last year's Elimination Chamber, where he played a key role in a storyline involving John Cena.

Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer recently indicated that The Rock's participation in WrestleMania 43 is unlikely due to his busy schedule.
