Thompson clarified that the discussions between Russo and WWE were not directly related to his departure from Juggalo Championship Wrestling, and he indicated that a return to WWE is currently not in the cards for Russo, as the talks have since stalled. Following Thompson's report, Fightful Select confirmed that there were indeed conversations between Russo and Khan, although the specifics of these discussions remain unclear.
