WWE Files Trademark for Developmental Wrestler Viktor Zanov

WWE has recently filed a trademark application for the name Viktor Zanov, associated with Aaron Fara, a developmental wrestler active in the Evolve program.

The trademark was submitted on August 19, 2023, and Fara has been using this name in his performances. He signed with WWE in 2025 and is a skilled judoka who represented Austria at the 2024 Olympics. Fara participated in a WWE tryout that year, leading to his contract offer.

In Evolve, Fara, under the name Viktor Zanov, has teamed up with Shido Ash, who is also a judoka and competed for Canada in the 2024 Olympics. Both wrestlers were signed by WWE simultaneously. Recently, Zanov and Ash won a dark match at NXT against Alexander James and Lince Dorado.
