WWE Files Trademark for 'WWE Vault' YouTube Channel
WWE has filed a new trademark application for the term 'WWE Vault,' which is associated with its popular YouTube channel dedicated to archival wrestling content. The application was submitted on September 1 and aims to cover professional wrestling transmitted through broadcast media.
The Vault channel, launched in 2024, features classic matches and shows, as well as rare content from various wrestling promotions. This trademark filing follows a previous dispute from 2024 to 2026, where WWE's application was denied due to similarities with a ticketing company's trademark.
WWE has increasingly used the term 'Vault' for its archival content, including the 'WWE Raw Vault' available on Netflix. The Vault YouTube channel has gained significant popularity, currently boasting 4.29 million subscribers. WWE's Head of Digital Media expressed surprise at the channel's success, noting that it has achieved this without additional resources.
