WWE Initiates Another Round of NXT Talent Cuts
WWE is reportedly conducting another round of talent cuts, specifically affecting its NXT brand, following WrestleMania 42.
More than two dozen talents were released earlier this year, and the current cuts are ongoing, with Jasper Troy being the only confirmed name so far. Troy joined WWE in 2022 and made his professional wrestling debut at an NXT live event in Florida the following year.
Troy gained recognition after winning the inaugural season of WWE LFG, where he trained under Booker T. He later won the WWE Speed Championship in November 2025, holding the title for over 100 days. He recently hinted at a potential exit from WWE via a tweet referencing a 30-day period, which is typical for NXT talents before they become free agents. No other departures have been confirmed, and no cuts from the main roster are expected at this time.
