The latest episode of WWE NXT, which served as the go-home show for Heatwave, garnered an average of 632,000 viewers on The CW, reflecting a 7.5% drop from the prior week's 683,000 viewers.
This episode, aired on August 25, achieved a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down 35.7% from the previous week, tying for the second-lowest rating since July 14. Despite the decline, total viewership was up 2.6% compared to the same week in 2025, marking the second consecutive week of year-over-year growth in total viewers.
The show featured notable matches, including Rey Fenix defending the AAA Cruiserweight title against EK Prosper, a weaponized steel cage match, and Kali Armstrong competing against Zaria for a spot in a Women’s North American title/Speed title unification match scheduled for Sunday.
