WWE NXT Ratings Decline Despite Victory Over AEW Dynamite
The October 6 episode of WWE NXT faced off against AEW Dynamite Grand Slam France, coinciding with the MLB playoffs, and managed to lead in viewership despite a decline.
NXT attracted an average of 532,000 viewers, a decrease of 21 percent from the previous week's 671,000. The show also recorded a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from 0.11 the prior week. In contrast, AEW Dynamite, which aired outside its usual timeslot, garnered 495,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating.
Compared to the same period last year, NXT's viewership has dropped by 10 percent from 592,000. The main event featured a 20-woman battle royale to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship, which was won by Wren Sinclair, who disguised herself to compete. Additionally, Hank and Tank, along with BirthRight, advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
