WWE NXT Ratings Decline Despite Zilla Fatu's Surprise Debut
The August 11 episode of WWE NXT featured a significant moment with the surprise debut of Zilla Fatu, who interrupted a main event match to conclude the show. Despite this, the episode's viewership saw a decline.
This edition attracted 588,000 viewers, marking a nine percent decrease from the previous week's 649,000 viewers. The episode achieved a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was a 29 percent increase from the prior week's rating of 0.07.
In comparison to the average viewership over the last four weeks, this episode was down eight percent from 638,000 viewers but up 12 percent from the previous four-week average. Year-over-year, viewership decreased by 10 percent from August 2025's average of 618,000 viewers, and the rating was down 47 percent from the same period last year.
During the show, Fatu's interference affected the match between Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller, who were competing for a chance to challenge NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo. The episode also featured Dion Lennox defeating Saquon Shugars, tying their series, and Zaria retaining the Women's North American Championship against Wren Sinclair amidst a brawl.
