
WWE NXT Sees Viewership Increase on September 1, 2026
The September 1 episode of WWE NXT reported an increase in viewership, coinciding with recent changes by Nielsen in its ratings calculation for the 2026-2027 season.
This edition attracted 768,000 viewers, marking a 22 percent rise from the previous week's 632,000. The show achieved a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 age demographic, an 89 percent increase from the prior week's rating of 0.09. NXT ranked seventh for the night among cable and broadcast shows in this demographic.
Compared to the average viewership over the last four weeks, the show was up 20 percent, and the rating increased by 70 percent. Year-over-year, viewership rose by 19 percent from September 2025's average of 647,000, and the rating improved by 31 percent from 0.13. The episode concluded with General Manager Robert Stone announcing a six-man tag team match for the following week, featuring challengers for Grayson Waller's NXT Championship.
