The Aug. 31 episode of WWE RAW has generated significant discussion due to extensive edits made by Netflix, particularly concerning violent scenes. This censorship has led some members of WWE's post-production team to question their control over the final broadcast.

A notable incident involved Royce Keys and OTM attacking Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso in a parking lot, which resulted in the Usos appearing bloodied. However, Netflix obscured the blood with pixelated blocks during the airing. Similar edits were made during another backstage attack featuring Solo Sikoa, and an F-bomb from Jacob Fatu was censored in the opening segment.

Reports indicate that WWE was aware of Netflix's editing parameters, but some staff members were surprised by the extent of the restrictions. WWE aimed for fans to view the Usos segment as it was originally filmed, leading to a unanimous decision to release the unedited footage on social media.
