WWE RAW to Begin Earlier on August 24 for Double Taping
WWE Monday Night RAW is set to start earlier than usual on August 24, beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. This change is due to the company's plan for double tapings on the same night.
During the August 17 episode, it was revealed that RAW will be followed by the taping of the August 28 episode of SmackDown. WWE is organizing two double tapings within five days, with the second set scheduled for August 28 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, where the show will start at 5:30 p.m. local time.
This strategy aims to provide wrestlers and production staff with additional time off after a busy summer, before the company embarks on a tour of South America. The August 24 episode of RAW will feature significant matches, including semifinal bouts in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament.
