WWE Secures Trademark for Zilla Fatu
WWE has filed for a trademark on the name Zilla Fatu, the ring name of wrestler Isayah Fatu, who is the son of the late WWE star Umaga. Fatu made his debut in NXT on August 12 and is scheduled to compete for the NXT Championship at the upcoming Heatwave event.
The trademark application, submitted on August 27, aims to cover goods and services related to professional wrestling performances. Fatu, 26, has retained his indie name in NXT and is expected to join the main roster soon, according to reports.
At Heatwave, Fatu will participate in a four-way match for the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo, Cruz Montana, and Grayson Waller. A recent video aired on WWE Raw is believed to serve as an introduction for fans unfamiliar with Fatu, while also promoting the Heatwave event.
