WWE Settles Shareholder Lawsuit Ahead of Trial
The shareholder lawsuit against WWE, involving Vince McMahon and Nick Khan, was scheduled for trial on June 8 but was settled just before it began. The case centered on the sale of WWE to Endeavor, leading to the formation of TKO Holdings.
Recent filings indicate that TKO's share of the settlement amounts to $105 million, with WWE expecting $75 million to be covered by insurance. The shareholders reportedly received a larger settlement, with additional contributions likely from McMahon.
McMahon and WWE continue to face other legal challenges, including a sex trafficking lawsuit that has been closed to the public and ongoing litigation related to the Ring Boys lawsuit, where the plaintiffs' identities remain confidential.
