WWE Signs Elly Finch to Developmental Contract

WWE has reportedly signed Elly Finch to a developmental contract, marking the addition of another athlete with a diverse sports background to its roster.

Finch, who graduated from Royal Oak High School in 2023, made history as the first female varsity football player at her school, playing positions including tackle, left guard, and middle linebacker. She also competed in shot put for Michigan State University’s track and field team.

At 23 years old, Finch secured her WWE contract after participating in two tryouts in 2026, one in January and another in August. The latter coincided with the SummerSlam weekend. While WWE has not officially announced her signing or training schedule, Finch is expected to join the next class at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
