
WWE Unveils Tournament Bracket for Roman Reigns' Title Challenger
WWE has disclosed the bracket and initial match schedule for a tournament aimed at determining the next challenger for Roman Reigns' World Heavyweight Championship. This event will occur during the Raw episode in Mexico City on September 14.
The tournament features eight contenders, with three first-round matches planned for Raw and one for AAA. Notably, the bracket could lead to a final match between brothers Penta and Rey Fenix, marking their first encounter in WWE.
Reigns recently defended his title against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Following this, WWE hinted at a discussion between Reigns and AAA general manager Rey Mysterio, who announced the tournament. Mysterio emphasized the significance of lucha libre and stated that Reigns agreed to defend his title on that night, ensuring a worthy opponent emerges from the tournament.
