Initially resistant, Green ultimately agreed to give up the championship but was granted a 30-day period to defend it instead of being stripped of the title immediately. This announcement came as Gunther expressed his dissatisfaction with Aldis' decision, leading to a confrontation with Green and her husband, Matt Cardona.

Following their altercation, Gunther quickly submitted Cardona in a match. Afterward, Nia Jax and Lash Legend confronted Green, but Tiffany Stratton intervened to assist her, preventing a potential 2-on-1 situation.
