WWE WrestleMania 42 Attendance Declines Compared to Previous Year
The Las Vegas Stadium Authority has announced the final attendance figures for WWE WrestleMania 42, revealing a decline compared to the previous year's event. The event took place in Las Vegas, where WWE opted to hold WrestleMania 42 in the same venue as the prior year.
According to the report, the first night attracted 47,093 attendees, while the second night saw 50,003, totaling 97,126 for the weekend. In contrast, WrestleMania 41 had a combined attendance of 118,641, with the first night drawing 58,538 and the second night 60,103. The latest figures are lower than estimates from WrestleTix and WWE's own announced attendance.
The report also indicated that 81 percent of attendees were from outside Las Vegas, with many citing the event as their primary reason for visiting. Overall tourism in Las Vegas has reportedly declined this year, as reflected in decreased hotel room tax revenue.
