WWE's Approach to Busted Open Radio Explained
WWE is adopting a non-influential stance regarding Busted Open Radio, as noted by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The company aims to treat the show similarly to NFL Radio, where the league does not control the hosts' content.
Following its rebranding to WWE Radio at the end of July, the SiriusXM channel continues its regular programming while also producing commentary for WWE's premium live events, featuring voices like Vic Joseph and Booker T. The station also simulcasts audio for Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, along with airing WWE podcasts.
Despite the changes, Busted Open has assured listeners that its tone will remain consistent. However, discussions about AEW have ceased, and Thunder Rosa, a former co-host, confirmed her exit from the show after the rebranding. The program still covers TNA and includes segments spotlighting independent wrestling talent.
