WWE's Crown Jewel Scheduled for Saudi Arabia Amid Uncertainty
WWE is set to host its Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on November 7, despite ongoing violence in the region. A recent report indicates that WWE officials believe the event will proceed as planned, although they have prepared a backup venue in the United States if necessary.
The decision comes amid a backdrop of postponed events in Saudi Arabia, including the Asian Tour golf tournament and FIFAe Finals 2026, due to clashes between Saudi forces and the Houthis. WWE's Chief Creative Officer, Triple H, confirmed the event will feature Champions vs. Champions matches.
Concerns have been raised among some WWE personnel regarding travel to Saudi Arabia, especially following the company's last event there in June, shortly after the escalation of the Iran-Israel conflict.
