Wyndham Clark Leads BMW Championship After Another Strong Round
Wyndham Clark took the lead at the BMW Championship in St. Louis on Friday, finishing with a second consecutive bogey-free round of 6-under 64, giving him a one-shot advantage over Gary Woodland.
Woodland, who birdied his last two holes for a score of 65, is aiming to qualify for the Tour Championship while managing the effects of his recent brain surgery. He expressed the need to focus on his health and take things one day at a time.
Clark, currently ranked fifth in the FedEx Cup standings, has shown strong performance throughout the tournament, with his only significant challenge coming on the 10th hole during the first round. Other competitors include J.J. Spaun, who is two shots behind, and Sungjae Im, three shots back, as they all vie for a spot in the upcoming Tour Championship.
