Wyndham Clark Leads BMW Championship by Five Shots

Wyndham Clark took control of the BMW Championship on Saturday, finishing the third round with a 6-under 64, which gave him a five-shot lead heading into the final round. Despite starting with a double bogey, Clark regrouped and showcased impressive play, including an eagle on the eighth hole.

During his round, Clark demonstrated strong putting skills, converting 136 feet of putts and gaining significant strokes on the field. He expressed confidence in his overall game, noting improvements in his iron play and mental approach.

Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay are both positioned at 12 under, trailing Clark. McIlroy recovered from earlier struggles to finish with a 5-under 65, while Cantlay closed his round with a birdie on the 18th hole. Clark, who previously led the U.S. Open, aims for his first playoff victory.
