X-Division Title Match Stipulation Announced for TNA Lockdown

An interesting stipulation has been officially included in the X-Division title match set for TNA Lockdown this month, following several weeks of online discussions after recent TV tapings.

The stipulation arose after a match between Ricky Sosa and Brian Myers on TNA Impact, where X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander, Bear Bronson, and former champion Leon Slater were involved. Slater challenged Alexander to a rematch, which Alexander initially declined, stating he would only defend his title if Slater's previous reign was erased from the records with a loss. Slater accepted the terms, leading to the match being confirmed.

All matches at the TNA Lockdown pay-per-view will take place inside a cage, with the event scheduled for Sunday, August 23, in Chicago.
