Xabi Alonso to Celebrate Goals Against Liverpool in Carabao Cup

Chelsea's manager Xabi Alonso has announced that he will celebrate if his team scores against Liverpool during their Carabao Cup match on Wednesday night. This game marks Alonso's first return to Anfield since taking over as Chelsea's manager earlier this summer.

Alonso, who previously played for Liverpool, emphasized that while he holds respect for his former club, his current role requires him to support Chelsea. He noted that this will be the third time he has returned to Anfield as a visiting manager, having previously managed Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen.

In addition, Alonso mentioned that striker Joao Pedro is likely to be unavailable until after the international break in November. Alonso's decision to join Chelsea instead of Liverpool was influenced by timing, as Liverpool's former manager Arne Slot was still in charge when he made his choice.
