Yahya Black Weighs 370 Pounds in Conversation with Tristan Wirfs

In a recent NFL game, Steelers defensive tackle Yahya Black revealed his weight of 370 pounds during a conversation with Buccaneers offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs, who weighs 340 pounds. This exchange was captured by NFL Films while Wirfs was mic’d up.

Both players have ties to Iowa, although they did not play together. Wirfs, a first-team All-American in 2019, noted that he had met Black when he was a freshman and remarked on how much Black has grown since then. Wirfs also complimented Black's choice of apparel during a recent Iowa game.

Both athletes have seen increases in their weight since entering the NFL, with Wirfs initially weighing 320 pounds at the 2020 Scouting Combine and Black at 336 pounds in 2025.
