Yankees Option Brendan Beck to Triple-A After Brief Recall

Beck did not pitch during his short stay with the Yankees. The team is expected to replace him with veteran reliever Justin Topa. Beck, a second-round pick in 2021, has struggled in the major leagues this season, recording a 9.45 ERA over two appearances.

In contrast, Beck has excelled at Triple-A, boasting a 9-2 record with a 2.75 ERA and 133 strikeouts in 22 starts this year. Despite injuries that have impacted his career, he remains a valuable depth option for the Yankees as they navigate their pitching needs.
