Yankees Place Ryan Weathers on Injured List Due to Forearm Strain

The New York Yankees have placed pitcher Ryan Weathers on the 15-day injured list due to a low-grade forearm strain. This decision came a day after Weathers left a game in the fourth inning due to the injury.

Weathers expressed relief that his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) is intact and noted that the current injury is less severe than one he experienced last year while with the Marlins. He is scheduled to meet with team doctor Christopher Ahmad to discuss further steps.

In response to Weathers' absence, the Yankees have called up Brendan Beck and activated Cody Bellinger from the injured list.
