Yashvir Singh Named Replacement for Neeraj Chopra in Asian Games Javelin Squad

Yashvir Singh has been appointed as the replacement for Neeraj Chopra in the Indian javelin squad for the upcoming Asian Games, as announced by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).

The updated 77-member team includes Yashvir and Rohit Yadav, who will compete in men's javelin at the Aichi-Nagoya Games. Neeraj Chopra, a medalist at both the World Championships and the Olympics, had to withdraw from the event due to an ankle ligament injury.

Additionally, Abhishek Pal's name was omitted from the team following a reported positive test for a banned substance.
