Youssef Chermiti Faces Extended Absence Due to ACL Injury

Rangers striker Youssef Chermiti is set to miss a significant amount of time due to an ACL injury he incurred during a match against Hibernian on Sunday.

The 22-year-old player suffered the injury in the first half after colliding with pitchside boards and was seen leaving the stadium in a boot and knee brace. This incident occurred shortly after Rangers turned down a substantial bid from Galatasaray for Chermiti.

Having joined Rangers from Everton last summer for a fee that could reach £10 million, Chermiti had a productive season, scoring 15 goals and providing five assists. The club's management has indicated that they value him highly, even more than the record fee received for Calvin Bassey earlier this year.
