Yuki Bhambri Claims Almaty Open Title with Ryan Seggerman
Yuki Bhambri, India's leading doubles player, secured his first ATP Tour title of the 2026 season by winning the Almaty Open alongside American partner Ryan Seggerman. The duo triumphed over the top-seeded Austrian pair of Lucas Miedler and Neil Oberleitner in a tightly contested final held in Almaty.
The match concluded with a score of 7-6(3), 6-7(1), [10-2], granting Bhambri his fifth career doubles title on the ATP Tour. This victory follows his previous successes in ATP 250 tournaments in Mallorca, Gstaad, and Munich, as well as an ATP 500 title in Dubai.
Bhambri's win comes as a morale booster after he returned from the Asian Games in Japan without a medal. Earlier this season, he had reached the final of the ATP 250 Geneva Open, finishing as runner-up. His career-high ranking was 18 in February, but he has since fallen out of the top 40.
