Yuki Tsunoda Reflects on Challenging 2025 F1 Season with Red Bull

Yuki Tsunoda has shared insights into his difficult 2025 Formula 1 season with Red Bull, where he finished 17th in the drivers' standings, significantly behind teammate Max Verstappen.

After Red Bull opted to replace Sergio Perez with Liam Lawson, Tsunoda eventually returned to the main team but faced challenges adapting to the RB21 car. Despite his initial confidence, he struggled to achieve competitive results, with his best finish being sixth place and a total of 30 points compared to Verstappen's 385.

Tsunoda expressed uncertainty about the car's characteristics and acknowledged that he did not effectively adjust his driving style to match the car's demands. He noted that his attempt to replicate Verstappen's setups did not yield positive results, leading to a disappointing season that concluded with his non-retention as a race driver for 2026.
