Zac Taylor to Miss Two Weeks with Hamstring Injury Ahead of AFL Finals
Adelaide utility player Zac Taylor has been confirmed to miss a minimum of two weeks due to a minor hamstring injury. The injury occurred during the second quarter of Saturday night's match against GWS, where he recorded six disposals before being assessed off the field.
Crows General Manager of High Performance Ian McKeown provided an update on Taylor's recovery, noting that while it is disappointing for the player, he is already focused on rehabilitation. McKeown emphasized the importance of monitoring Taylor's hamstring response in the coming days to better estimate a return timeline.
In addition to Taylor's injury, key defender Jordon Butts is listed as a test for the upcoming elimination final as he recovers from an achilles injury. Midfielder James Peatling is also being managed for hip and groin soreness, having missed the last two games. Adelaide finished the season in sixth place with a 15-8 record and is awaiting their first finals opponent following the Wildcard Round.
