Zac Thornton Discusses Mets' Young Pitching Talent

Zac Thornton recently shared his thoughts on the New York Mets' young pitching rotation as the team wrapped up its final homestand of the season.

Thornton, who is part of this emerging group, noted the potential of his teammates, including Nolan McLean, Christian Scott, and Jonah Tong. He expressed pride in their development, particularly McLean, who is a candidate for the National League Rookie of the Year after achieving a 3.16 ERA with 194 strikeouts over 31 starts this season.

Thornton emphasized the importance of their offseason training together in Florida, where they participated in strength and pitching camps organized by the Mets, contributing to their on-field success.
